About the role
The Structural Design Engineer performs structural analysis and design of marine structures such as ships, offshore platforms, and wind turbine foundations, utilizing advanced FEA tools, developing and validating models, ensuring code compliance, and providing technical support throughout project lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities
- Performs structural analysis and designs of marine structures including ships, offshore platforms and other marine structures
- Performs basic rule scantling calculation, ISE, longitudinal hull girder strength
- Utilizes advanced finite element analysis (FEA) tools and software to conduct stress, fatigue, and dynamic analyses
- Develops and validates structural models to simulate and predict performance under various loading conditions
- Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural analysis results into overall project designs
- Prepares detailed technical reports, design documentation, and presentations for stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field
- Experience with structural analysis of offshore wind turbines, oil & gas platforms, subsea structures and marine vessels
- Proven experience in structural analysis and design of marine structures
- Knowledge of marine construction techniques and materials
- Proficiency in using FEA software such as DNV Sesam, ANSYS, ABAQUS, or equivalent
