About the role
This System & Network Engineer role involves managing virtualization platforms, administering Windows Server environments, and maintaining network infrastructure. The successful candidate will monitor system performance, execute upgrades, and provide technical support for hardware, software, and disaster recovery processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain virtualization platforms (Hyper-V and VMware)
- Administer and support Windows Server environments
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, VPN, firewall)
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of IT services
- Perform system upgrades, patching, and routine maintenance
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
- Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes
- Maintain proper documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors for project implementation and support
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in system and network administration
- Hands-on experience with Hyper-V and/or VMware virtualization platforms
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy)
- Hands-on experience with Network infrastructure (switching, routing, firewall)
- Experience with Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA)
- Experience with Network Access Control (NAC) solutions (e.g., Cisco ISE, FortiNAC)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure (IaaS, networking, identity)
- Knowledge of security best practices and frameworks
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, Azure)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of IT infrastructure and security concepts
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Good communication and documentation skills
