About the role
Support Group IBG Head in formulating strategy, perform market research, collaborate with IBG leadership, conduct strategy reviews, drive IBG-wide initiatives, and support strategic communications.

Key Responsibilities
- Support Group IBG Head in formulating strategy in the business management process, including defining business models, refining business strategies, and ensuring alignment with an evolving business landscape
- Perform market research including macro trend assessment, market scoping and competitor analysis
- Collaborate with IBG leadership to develop strategy content by engaging business, country, Global Industry, segment and product heads
- Partner with business leaders to conduct periodic strategy reviews, budgeting/ forecasting, assess market shifts, evaluate opportunities, and deliberate on strategic choices and trade-offs
- Organise and drive IBG-wide initiatives together with relevant Business Unit and Support Unit partners
- Lead in the business performance measurement of IBG through the Scorecard exercise
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant work experience demonstrating strategic thinking and adaptability, with knowledge of corporate banking coverage & products being advantageous
- Strong analytical, financial, and critical thinking skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to filter through complex information
- Creative and adept at research
- Highly committed to delivering excellence, demonstrating resilience, practicality, and adaptability to achieve results
- Comfortable working with diverse teams and bridging gaps to drive execution
- Strong interpersonal skills, and effective influencing and communication abilities, capable of linking strategy, product, and changes to potential business impact
