Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data management standards and frameworks that enable data usage and mitigate associated risks across the end-to-end data lifecycle.
- Create playbooks and learning materials to guide business and support units in implementing these data management standards and practices, in areas such as data ownership, data quality, metadata and lineage.
- Validate the implementation of data management standards by business and support units.
- Collaborate with business, data and technical teams to industrialise data management practices and tooling.
- Facilitate and execute bank-wide data management processes.
- Engage stakeholders across business and technology units to foster a strong data risk management mindset and provide guidance on data governance practices.
Requirements
- Degree in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering, mathematics, or data science.
- 8 to 10 years of experience in data management, data governance, risk management or regulatory compliance.
- Deep expertise in enterprise data management frameworks, operating models, and controls.
- Ability to design, implement, and monitor data management standards, covering areas such as data quality, data issue management, metadata and data lineage.
- Strong understanding of data regulations, risk management, and compliance obligations.
- Experience with enterprise data governance tooling and metrics.
