Key Responsibilities
- The role is for an SVP/VP of Operational Risk Management in the Consumer Banking Group, responsible for operational risk management, reporting to the Head of Governance & Controls.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to deliver the expected outcomes for SVP/VP, Operational Risk Management, Consumer Banking Group.
- Maintain clear documentation, status updates, and handover notes for the work performed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in operational risk management within the banking or financial services industry, with a focus on consumer banking.
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership or senior specialist role (e.g., AVP or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of operational risk management principles, frameworks, and regulatory requirements (e.g., MAS guidelines).
- Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies (e.g., RCSA) and tools (e.g., eGRC/ORMS).
- Knowledge of incident management, business continuity planning, and third-party risk management best practices.
