About the role
IKEA Jurong is hiring a Kitchen Production Team Leader for a 1-year contract. This role reports to the Kitchen Production Manager and is responsible for kitchen operations, supporting the shift, forecasting, purchasing, and ensuring efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee operations of the Kitchen production area.
- Support the entire shift of Restaurant, Swedish Food Market, and Bistro.
- Assist in forecasting and purchasing of food and goods.
- Monitor man-hours roster and supervise kitchen co-workers.
- Manage waste, portioning, and kitchen production for efficiency.
- Ensure kitchen facilities conform to safety, sanitary regulations, and HACCP standards.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen operation.
- Proven leadership abilities and commercial acumen.
- Effective cost and resource management skills.
- Decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Computer knowledge and proficiency in MS Office.
- Experience in supervising and working with a diverse team.
