Applied Materials is seeking a Regional Physical Security Engineer to support sites in Singapore, China, and nearby areas. The role involves designing and engineering physical security systems, coordinating with teams, and ensuring alignment with security standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Regional Security Operations team to design and engineer physical security systems for new construction and upgrades.
- Serve as local subject matter expert in physical security technologies including Avigilon, C•CURE 9000, ACS, Visitor Management, IP Intercoms, metal detectors, X-Ray systems, and emerging technologies.
- Develop detailed design layouts, device placement drawings, and written scopes of work.
- Coordinate with General Contractors, GIS/IT, Global Security Technology, and security operations to ensure alignment with standards.
- Draft technical specifications for security RFPs.
- Provide on-site engineering oversight during construction phases.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in design and engineering of enterprise physical security systems.
- Proven expertise with Software House (C•CURE 9000), Avigilon, Genetec, Lenel, and other enterprise-grade security systems.
- Strong understanding of global security standards, system integration, and infrastructure.
- Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation including design drawings and specifications.
- Strong understanding of network architecture, VLAN segmentation, PoE, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
- Ability to read construction documents, electrical drawings, low-voltage schematics, and server rack layouts.
