About the role
Applied Materials seeks a Process Support Engineer (New College Graduate) to provide customer support, develop processes, and troubleshoot semiconductor equipment at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities
- Follow procedures to provide high-visibility customer support through on-site installations, system diagnoses, and service/repair of complex systems and equipment.
- Work closely with customers to develop leading-edge processes for manufacturing advanced semiconductor chips.
- Create hypothesis experiments and design of experiments (DOE); analyze data with statistics and compile reports with conclusions on process engineering experiments.
- Troubleshoot complex problems, perform root cause analysis, and resolve process engineering and customer product issues.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders and customers to achieve goals and build relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry/physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics, or related field.
- Past internship experience in semiconductor/electronics/manufacturing industry is an added advantage but not compulsory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to explain sensitive information and build consensus.
- Must be able to work closely with customers at customer site/cleanroom daily.
- Will be based at customer's site daily (North).
