About the role

Technical Product Support Engineer II provides remote and on‑site escalation support for Metal Packaging/MDP equipment, handling complex technical issues, leading troubleshooting, coaching field service personnel, and contributing to product improvements and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support multiple technical escalations with focus on resolution time and quality
  • Attend customer field issue meetings and collaborate with BU engineers
  • Recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services
  • Publish technical lessons learned, troubleshooting guides, and ET papers
  • Provide on‑site coaching to field service operators (FSO)
  • Provide Alpha and Beta site support

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical/engineering field
  • Minimum 3 years of semiconductor fab experience
  • At least 3 years of experience with Applied Materials Metal Packaging or MDP products
  • MDP equipment certification
  • Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
