Key Responsibilities
- Supervises employees involved in production and operation functions such as assembly, inspection, test, and final test related to manufacturing of capital equipment and systems.
- Prioritizes production schedules based on manpower, equipment efficiency, capacity, and materials requirements.
- Participates in operational meetings, supports development and tracking of performance metrics, schedules milestone meetings, and ensures cycle time performance.
- Ensures timely response to operations issues impacting customer satisfaction, acts as interface for customer/vendor requirements, and initiates corrective action based on cost of quality analysis.
- Oversees prevention of employee accidents and injuries, ensures compliance with safety training and policies.
- Develops personnel through training, career development, performance management, goal setting, and coaching; manages hiring, reward, and discipline processes.
