Key Responsibilities
- To teach existing and new courses at undergraduate and graduate degree levels, as well as pre-service and in-service teacher education.
- To engage in research that informs policy and practice.
- To develop a research agenda and programme, and to publish in reputable journals as is customary in his/her field.
- To establish professional connections with local and international researchers and practitioners involved in his/her specific area of expertise.
- To share expertise with NIE colleagues through various platforms.
- To undertake administrative and/or leadership roles and to contribute to other service-related activities at the departmental and Institutional levels.
- To engage in programme leadership and curriculum design and development
- Application Process
Requirements
- A PhD in psychology or a relevant field, with specialization in educational/developmental psychology.
- Evidence of at least 4 years of an outstanding teaching track record and innovative uses of technology in teaching.
- A strong commitment to and aptitude for teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
