Key Responsibilities
- Instrumentation & Maintenance: Responsible for routine instrument calibration, cryogenic maintenance, and advanced hardware troubleshooting to ensure 100% uptime of the NMR center’s spectrometers.
- Computational & Experimental Research: Actively contribute to PI-led research initiatives. This includes configuring laboratory servers and performing advanced structural simulations using Density Functional Theory (DFT) and Molecular Dynamics (MD) to complement experimental NMR data.
Requirements
- PhD in the field of biochemistry/biophysics, chemistry, material sciences or related fields
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in NMR spectroscopy
- Prior programming experience is highly desirable; the successful candidate will be expected to develop custom scripts and facilitate advanced data analysis workflows.
- Should have a passion for basic research, NMR development and application, and is expected to participate in research projects
- Opportunities of getting extensive training in solid and solution NMR will be provided to the successful candidate.
