Key Responsibilities
- Prepare 2D ferroelectric materials.
- Characterize the ferroelectric polarization with various methods, such as PFM and P-E loop test.
- Confirm the polarization switch with electrical pulses.
- Demonstrate reconfigurable photoresponsivity of the samples.
- Fabricate and test devices based on 2D ferroelectric materials.
- Collect and analyze the result.
- Draft manuscript and project reports based on the results.
- Mentor undergraduates or master students under this project.
- Assist the PI to draft new research proposals.
Requirements
- PhD degree in Electronics, Materials Science and Engineering, Physics, or a related field. Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
- At least 2 years of technical hands-on experience in 2D ferroelectric materials characterization and device design and fabrication.
- Good publication on 2D ferroelectric materials and devices is necessary.
- Familiarity with lithography 2D materials transfer and PFM characterization.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Meticulous and good with data.
