Key Responsibilities
- Develop physics-based data-driven models for lithium-ion batteries (e.g. SOC, temperature).
- Design and implement state estimation algorithms (e.g. SOC/SOH estimation).
- Build and improve optimization algorithms for wireless power transfer (WPT) systems to reduce charging time and improve efficiency.
- Analyse experimental data from battery testing and wireless charging systems.
- Process and clean datasets, extract key features, and generate insights using data analytics techniques.
- Develop simulation models (e.g. Python, MATLAB, LTspice) for battery systems and WPT circuits.
- Integrate battery models with charging control strategies.
- Conduct experiments and validate models using laboratory equipment.
- Document methodologies, results, and findings in technical reports and publications.
- Collaborate with team members on research projects and contribute to project deliverables.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields.
- Expertise in developing control algorithms.
- Knowledge of Li-ion battery modeling techniques.
- Basic knowledge of modelling and control systems is preferred.
- Research experience in predictive maintenance, battery thermal and health management.
- , data analytics, and machine learning model development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as MATLAB and Python.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
