Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, process, and analyze biological datasets, including RNA-seq, Hi-C, ChIA-PET, ATAC-seq, and other omics data.
  • Develop machine learning and deep learning models to address computational biology and biomedical research questions.
  • Write, test, and maintain research code using Python, R, and relevant bioinformatics tools.
  • Perform data preprocessing, quality control, feature extraction, and downstream analysis.
  • Support the development of AI agent-based workflows for biological data analysis.
  • Assist in result interpretation, visualization, and preparation of reports, figures, and presentations.
  • Contribute to literature review, method development, and project documentation.
  • Support manuscript preparation and other research-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • BSc in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Data Science, Biology, Biomedical Science, or a related field.
  • Relevant research or technical experience in computational biology, bioinformatics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or deep learning is preferred.
  • Familiarity with biological data analysis, especially omics data such as RNA-seq, Hi-C, ChIA-PET, and ATAC-seq.
  • Good programming skills in Python and R, with experience in relevant bioinformatics and data analysis tools.
  • Basic knowledge of machine learning and deep learning methods for biological or biomedical applications.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research environment.
  • Meticulous, responsible, and able to manage tasks under timelines
