Key Responsibilities
- Receive, process and biobank biological samples efficiency, in a timely manner.
- Assist in frozen sample retrieval and sorting for study collaborators.
- Perform daily routine measurements on analytical systems e.g. clinical chemistry and hematology counter.
- Monitor quality standards by verifying equipment function through routine equipment maintenance, running daily quality controls and calibrations.
- Perform general administrative work such as tracking the supply of daily consumables and coordinate with vendors/suppliers on procurement matters.
- Able to troubleshoot whenever there are equipment issues/breakdown.
- Must adhere to regulatory requirements (HBRA-HTF) and ensure safety in the work environment.
- Must be a strong team player.
Requirements
- Biobanking facilities or experience in running clinical chemistry assays.
- Ability to work independently with high levels of motivation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work well in a team to deliver good research participant care.
- Must pay attention to detail.
