Key Responsibilities
- The Research Associate (RA) will work on a project to develop self-healing cement additive and explore its applications in concrete materials and structures.
- The RA should have previous experience in chemical synthesis and analysis, concrete sample preparation, mechanical testing and microstructural characterization (XRD, TGA, FTIR and SEM-EDX).
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Material Science or Chemistry or related field
- Strong academic standing with several publications in reputable journals
- Strong references from previous supervisors
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in chemical synthesis and analysis, concrete sample preparation, mechanical testing and microstructural characterization (XRD, TGA, FTIR and SEM-EDX).
