Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research and perform in-depth analyses to improve fire performance of concrete materials, structural systems and structural joints.
- Develop and implement innovative methods and solutions to enhance building safety and structural resilience.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design, test, and optimize new materials and construction techniques.
- Support performance-based fire design, numerical modelling, testing framework development, and technical reporting.
- Ensure project compliance with safety standards while contributing to the university’s mission of fostering innovation and protecting community welfare.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field
- Knowledge of structural fire engineering and performance-based fire design
- /material testing, modelling, or data analysis.
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in structural analysis software and CAD.
- Competent in analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
