Key Responsibilities
- Conduct literature review on 3D concrete printing materials, printability, buildability, and related material performance indicators.
- Compile, organise, and clean research data from journal publications and other approved sources.
- Support the development and maintenance of a structured database for material composition, process parameters, and performance outcomes.
- Assist with data documentation, including data definitions, assumptions, and data processing procedures.
- Support data analysis and baseline modelling work under the guidance of the Principal Investigator.
- Assist in identifying trends and relationships between formulation variables and printing performance.
- Support experimental activities such as sample preparation, 3D printing trials, laboratory testing, and data recording when required.
- Prepare figures, summaries, presentations, and draft materials for reports, publications, and project meetings.
- Maintain proper documentation, record keeping, and compliance with laboratory safety and research data management requirements.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and laboratory personnel to support project activities and timelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
- , data analysis, or construction/material-related projects is preferred.
- Familiarity with Python, MATLAB, R, or machine learning workflows will be advantageous.
- , data handling, and technical reporting is desirable.
- Candidates should have good analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
