Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct theoretical and experimental research on Mid-Infrared and Terahertz Photonics device structures.
  • Design and implement devices such as topological lasers and detectors and waveguides.
  • Develop and validate devices such as lasers and detectors and waveguides.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to explore practical applications of novel Mid-Infrared and Terahertz Photonics device structures.
  • Prepare high-quality research publications and present findings at conferences and seminars.

Requirements

  • Minimally Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Optical Engineering or other related fields.
  • Applicants with PhD or pending PhD Conferment preferred.
  • Mid-Infrared and Terahertz Photonics device structures designs and simulations.
  • The ability to conduct independent research is highly desirable.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
