Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and help lead a sediment monitoring programme in Singapore’s coastal habitats.
- Collect sediment cores and surface sediment samples.
- Perform laboratory analyses including particle grain size, organic carbon and develop chronologies.
- Run model simulations of future sediment budget changes in response to sea level rise and land use changes.
- Collate and interpret results for scientific reports and publications.
- Present findings at international geoscience conferences.
- Ensure project deliverables are completed to an agreed schedule.
Requirements
- The successful applicant will work collectively within a multi-disciplinary team of scientists at EOS and colleagues at NTU helping to produce scientific output for reports, publications, and conference presentations. This project will also work closely with an industry partner in Singapore.
