Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute research to identify and characterize plant resistance genes using effectoromics approaches
- Perform genetic, molecular, and plant pathology assays in plant–microbe interaction systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to validate candidate genes and underlying mechanisms
Requirements
- PhD in Plant Biology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field
- At least 5 years of relevant postdoctoral or research experience with strong hands-on expertise
- Solid background in plant immunity, plant–microbe interactions, molecular genetics, or related areas
- Strong experimental skills in molecular biology, genetics, and/or cell biology
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of scientific publications preferred
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet project timelines
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and collaborative mindset
