Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on packaging design and integration for power electronic devices, including mechanism analysis, electrothermal modeling, and structural design to enhance device performance and capability.
- Perform software & hardware validation using simulation tools and converter experiments.
- Publish research findings in top-tier IEEE journals and present at leading conferences.
- Collaborate with the team to develop innovative solutions for improving the reliability of power electronic devices.
Requirements
- PhD degree in electrical engineering or related field
- Strong knowledge of power electronics, packaging and integration, and device materials
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in programming, software simulation for multi-physics, and conducting hardware experiments
- Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
- A strong background in packaging design and integration of power devices is a distinct advantage.
