Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research in maritime transport, maritime decarbonisation and digitalisation, methodology development and applications
- Publish findings in top peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings
- Collaborate with other researchers on project discussions and joint deliverables
- Coordinate the preparation of project reports and deliverables
- Support the preparation of research proposals and grant applications
Requirements
- Candidate should minimally hold a master’s degree in maritime transport, marine technology, computer science, or a related field.
- Excellent programming skills, such as Python, Matlab, C++, or other computer languages.
- A record of publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals or conferences in the fields of maritime transport, ocean engineering, naval architecture, and computer science.
- Familiarity with ship data processing, ship performance analysis, machine learning algorithms (Deep learning, Reinforcement learning, etc.).
- Proficiency in written and spoken English - essential for data analysis and communication with stakeholders
- Excellent oral communication skills.
