Key Responsibilities
- RA (polymer chemist) will be hired to manage the development of novel bioadhesives formulations and work with laboratory personnel towards the objectives listed within the relevant grant funding.
- Synthesis and characterization of functional polyacrylate composites using novel photoinitiator chemistry.
- Project management with ability to generate technical reports, journal papers, and liase with industrial collaborators.
- Maintenance of lab or equipment or supplies that include procurement and liaison with suppliers.
- Assist or Produce high quality reports and documents that consolidate research findings
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Materials-, Organic- or Polymer Chemistry from an internationally accredited institution.
- Minimum one year of industrial or academic research experience in polymer research, materials science, or adhesives.
- , photoinitiators, free radical polymerization, vat polymerization.
- Familiar with polymer characterization techniques such as SEC, XPS, NMR, FTIR
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong initiatives.
- Evidence of project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong record of scientific publications in high impact academic journals.
