Key Responsibilities
- Pastoral Care & Support
- Provide counselling and wellbeing support to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of case management interventions, including case logs and reports.
- Conduct regular check-ins with at-risk or vulnerable students.
- Support students with special education needs (assessment accommodation, emotional support).
- Liaise with University Wellbeing Centre & external counselling services.
- Implement and evaluate student wellbeing programmes and follow up on at-risk cases.
- Process student-related administrative matters (LOA, withdrawals, reinstatement, academic status).
- Student Activities Oversight
- Oversee SPMS Graduate Students Club activities and manage related administration in compliance with NTU policy.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or other related human or behavioural sciences.
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience, with a minimum of 1 year in the higher education sector (preferred).
- , preferably in school or educational settings.
- Proactive, with strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work independently and collaboratively with stakeholders.
- Good documentation, reporting, and outcome-tracking skills with attention to detail.
- Resourceful and flexible in adjusting and responding to changing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, and implement programmes, events, and/or student engagement activities.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines.
- Willing to work occasional evenings and weekends when required.
