Key Responsibilities
- Lead research into Real-world Deepfake Detection, Image Forgery Detection & Localization, and Multimedia Forensics
- Creation and/or adaptation of large-scale datasets for research and algorithm evaluation
- Be part of a research team in the execution of funded research projects
- Assist in drafting of proposals for new research grants in the above areas
Requirements
- A Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Research experience in Computer Vision, Image Processing, Multimedia Forensics, Image Forgery Detection & Localization, Deepfake Detection, and related areas.
- Proficiency in software such as PyTorch, OpenCV, and programming languages such as Python, C/C++, as well as Linux (eg. Ubuntu) is essential..
- Knowledge of GPU computing, CUDA programming, model optimization, and industry experience in engineering software development would be an advantage.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to users and management boards.
- Ability to communicate with various stakeholders and lead a team of 3–4 researchers or student assistants.
