Key Responsibilities
- Process and handle human biospecimens (e.g., nasal brushes, tissue biopsies), including preparation of clinical sampling packs, coordination of sample collection with clinical teams, and downstream processing and expansion of hNEC cells.
- Assist the SRF/RF in establishing, optimizing, and maintaining airway- and lung-derived organoid models for experimental use
- Perform functional assays (e.g., TEER, immunofluorescence, gene expression analysis) on ALI and organoid systems
Requirements
- , including transcriptomic and single-cell sequencing analysis, would be advantageous but is not essential
- Maintain accurate experimental records and contribute to SOP development and optimization
- Assist in data organization, storage, and documentation to ensure reproducibility and compliance with data governance policies
- Assist in lab administration tasks to ensure smooth research operations
- Contribute to manuscript preparation
