Key Responsibilities
- Design experimental systems and perform experimental measurements.
- Process experimental data analyze the results.
- Implement numerical calculations to simulate collective behaviors of bacteria.
- Build theoretical models to describe or explain the experimental or numerical results.
- Help organize the research lab.
- Help train other members of the lab, such as undergraduate students.
Requirements
- PhD (for Research Fellow and above equivalent) degree in biophysics, soft matter physics, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or related field.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in experimental techniques such as microscopy, microfluidics, or rheology OR molecular dynamics simulation or agent-based simulation.
- Competent in soft skills e.g. information visualization, oral presentation, etc.
- Entry level candidates are welcome to apply.
