Requirements
- Ph.D. in inorganic chemistry, materials science, or a closely related field, with a minimum of 4–5 years of relevant research experience (including Ph.D. study period).
- Proven expertise in chemical synthesis of inorganic nanoparticles or quantum dots , particularly chalcogenide and halide semiconductors ( preferred ).
- Strong hands-on experience with synthesis methods such as colloidal synthesis, hot-injection techniques, solvothermal/hydrothermal growth, and sol-gel processes .
- Expertise in semiconductor material characterization ( XRD, SEM, TEM, EQE, PL, UV-Vis spectroscopy ).
- Knowledge and experience in solar energy conversion devices , including photovoltaic and photoelectrochemical systems, is advantageous.
- Strong research track record evidenced by publications, patents, or grants .
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work independently and in diverse, interdisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated initiative , problem-solving skills , and the ability to manage independent research projects.
