Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out literature research on STOA of mission decomposition.
  • Develop an efficient modeling framework that can capture a variety of operational requirements and uncertain operational environment.
  • Develop an efficient mission analysis and decomposition method.
  • Apply the developed modeling and decomposition methods in a simulation testbed.
  • Publish research results in reputable journals and conferences (in particular, ICRA).
  • Assist project PI to coach research students.

Requirements

  • PhD degree in relevant fields with past research foci on formal methods, modeling and analysis of complex operations under uncertain environment.
  • Strong publication record in relevant fields.
  • Knowledge in modeling, simulation, and analysis of sea operations is a plus.
  • Proficiency in English is essential to conduct research.
