Key Responsibilities
- Carry out literature research on STOA of mission decomposition.
- Develop an efficient modeling framework that can capture a variety of operational requirements and uncertain operational environment.
- Develop an efficient mission analysis and decomposition method.
- Apply the developed modeling and decomposition methods in a simulation testbed.
- Publish research results in reputable journals and conferences (in particular, ICRA).
- Assist project PI to coach research students.
Requirements
- PhD degree in relevant fields with past research foci on formal methods, modeling and analysis of complex operations under uncertain environment.
- Strong publication record in relevant fields.
- Knowledge in modeling, simulation, and analysis of sea operations is a plus.
- Proficiency in English is essential to conduct research.
