- Provide application engineering support and explain the features and benefits of Thermo Scientific software solutions Prepare and provide product presentations and trainings to customers Prepare and deliver proofs of concept which meet customer business requirements and resolve any technical issue which may arise during the sales cycle Work with technical support to resolve customer issues Actively contribute and participatein internal initiatives regarding technical collaboration, data sharing and content production Review documentation and participate in QA of new products and new releases before they are proposed to customers Participate in preparing the content of the technical materials and presentations Expected travel : 50% in APAC region primarily covering Singapore, South-East Asia and ANZ.
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent plus two or more years as a pre-sales engineer
- Image Processing and/or Machine Learning application-level knowledge is required
- Experience or knowledge in imaging in Semiconductor technologies preferred, (Life Sciences and/or Materials Sciences )
- Experience with commercial or open-source software (Avizo, Amira, VG Studio Max, Simpleware Scan IP, Arivis, BitplaneImaris, ORS DragonFly, ImageJ/Fiji),
- Programming and scripting experience (C++, Python, .NET, Java, MATLAB) will be preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to translate complex technical content to domain experts.
