- DESCRIPTION: Responsible for ensuring reliable and cost-effective supply chain operations Manage strategic supplier relationships, drive procurement initiatives, and collaborate across functions to optimize material availability and inventory levels.
- Continuous improvement projects, implement cost savings strategies, and develop effective solutions for supply chain challenges.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams Analyze requirements, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure on-time delivery of materials critical to our manufacturing operations.
Requirements
- Degree plus 3 years of experience, or
- Degree plus 5 years of experience in procurement/supply chain experience in manufacturing environment, preferably in life sciences or regulated industry
- Preferred Fields of Study: Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field Advanced degree or relevant professional certifications (APICS, CSCP, CIPS, CPM) preferred
- Strong proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Strong negotiation abilities and demonstrated success in delivering cost savings
- Experience with supplier relationship management and performance metrics tracking
