Key Responsibilities
- As the Sr Global FE Capital Spares/Services Manager , you will be developing the Spares and Services procurement strategies and lead global initiatives.
- Drive innovation and transformative category initiatives and implementuseof advanced analytics and artificial intelligence,systemsand processes for the portfolio.
- You willbe responsible forconveying corporate business initiatives, aligning team and individual goals to businessobjectives, and driving overall high performance within the team and the department.
- Build and Execute Category Strategies Work with direct and cross-functional teams to plan strategic sourcing direction for category Recommend targets for spend reduction, sourcing efficiency, supplier management and supply base optimization Define and deliver category cost savings and scorecard metric targets,monitorand report out progress to targets Recommend resource levels across FE Procurement sourcing categories,projectsand functions Monitor and adjust category compliance (e.g.risk, spend, quality, supplier segmentation, management)
- Monitor the implementation of category and sourcing strategies and contract compliance andparticipatein the resolution of any constraints or issues Communicate sourcing trends and results for FE categories to the Category Director Maintain supplier segmentationmapfor category, and build partnerships with strategic suppliers DriveAdvanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence in FE Spares High levelsof digital dexterity to achieve Spares digital business transformation Enable savings opportunities through data visualization and business intelligence Passionate about data / data-driven analysis Strong business acumen / industry knowledge and connect leadership and stakeholder data needs Manage Supplier Relationship Globally Act as primary point of contact for assigned suppliers and projects Perform commercial supplier qualification activities to ensure the commercial development of strategic suppliers Maintain collaborative relationships with supplier(s) while effectively resolving supplier performance / capability issues to ensure alignment with Micron's strategic direction Ensure supplierscomply withMicron's business ethics, code-of-conduct programs, and corporate safety policies and social responsibility initiatives Communicate key supplier management updates and decisions to multiple levels in the organization including Executive Leadership Enlist senior management, whenappropriate, to help reinforce commitment and involvement from suppliers Provide the voice of the supply base to Micron and provide the voice of Micron to suppliers Interface with Stakeholders, Partners, and Suppliers on Category Strategies Interface with internal stakeholders (manufacturing, engineering,financeand suppliers)
- Lead strategic supplier engagement and execution of global sourcing initiatives Drive adoption of category frameworks, processes, and systems Lead supplier business reviews and governance cadence Collaborate with Stakeholders to Deliver Strategic Solutions Interface andcollaboratewith cross-functional teams and suppliers Drive innovation efforts through internal and external collaboration Implementprocesses tomonitorstakeholder satisfaction for key suppliers Drive proactive approach with stakeholders when supply issues and/or performance risks exist Provide feedback and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or higher Required Manage multiple large-scale projects concurrently
- Ability to work with minimal supervision 7+years experiencein procurement, material,sparesand services procurement is preferred (3+ yearsrequiredexternal)
