Key Responsibilities

  • Micron's Singapore Process Development (PD) group in Technology Development (TD) is seeking a Senior Engineer in Plasma-CVD/Diffusion to support the development of advanced technology nodes.
  • This outstanding opportunity allows you to build and optimize Plasma-CVD or Diffusion processes for Micron's innovative NAND Flash products.
  • As a PD Engineer at Micron, you will transform ideas from conception through flawless process development and successful implementation in our manufacturing facilities.
  • This role is pivotal to Micron's products and may require business-related travel.
  • Excel in areas such as Plasma-CVD or Thermal Diffusion process and film characterization, optimization, building, troubleshooting, process transfer, and fundamental research.
  • Work closely with Process Integration, Metrology, Surface characterization labs, Electrical Failure Analysis, Yield Improvement, Manufacturing, and Equipment vendors/suppliers to ensure our thin film processes meet the strict physical and electrical requirements for Micron Products.

Requirements

  • This position requires demonstrated skills in a research and development (R&D) environment, outstanding organizational abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and in collaboration with others.
  • Successful candidates must have:
  • Bachelor/Masters in Physics, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field of study, accompanied by more than 5 years of relevant experience in CVD/Diffusion.
  • Solid troubleshooting, experimental build, and data analysis skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office.
  • Plasma physics background and understanding of plasma sources used in plasma CVD or equivalent experience.
