Key Responsibilities
- As a Process Control System (PCS) Engineer you will be primarily responsible for starting up, developing and optimizing processes to improve product quality and reliability, working on process yield improvement, cost reduction, productivity improvement and risk management as well as resolving manufacturing line problems.
- Identify, diagnose and resolve assembly process related problems by applying failure analysis, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), 8D or Statistical Process Control (SPC)/Fault Detection & Classification (FDC) methodology.
- As PCS Engineer we will be responsible to develop smart manufacturing solutions towards the Industry 4.0 standard.
- As a PDE PCS Engineer, we will have the opportunity to develop a complete solution that starts with requirements gathering, data analysis and modeling with big data platform, followed by system development and integration; and then network wide implementation.
- We will meet regularly and team with Process areas to understand their tools, processes, and challenges and work with them to create process control models, strategies, and other methods for ensuring quality output.
- We develop, implement and improve smart control solutions for optimum manufacturing performance.
Requirements

- Job Requirements, Qualifications/Experience
- Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills
- Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels
- Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus
- Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred
