Key Responsibilities
- Support the Global Facilities Central Engineering Team, Construction Team , Line Planning Team and O&M Team in providing critical design standard alignment, supplier quality improvement, operational and maintenance input and support construction projects.
- Design and construction of regional green field project with alignment to global standards and collaboration with central sustainability, cost, construction and line planning team.
- Engineering support for site projects, Alpha to Beta technology transfer and sustainability projects
- Engineering support for site system improvement projects (System Reliability Improvements, Quality Improvement and Equipment EOL replacements)
- Engineering support for major SIPP review
- Expert understanding of each sites Facility I&C / SCADA / IOT / TGM systems operational and maintenance capabilities in order to provide critical support
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical discipline or equivalent work experience Excellent analytical and good decision making skills Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization Excellent teamwork and collaboration with other groups, internally and externally Proven ability to solve problems across multi-functional and multi-cultural groups within and outside facilities Proven ability to multi-task and lead team to meet challenging deadlines and goals Proven ability to continuously improve systems and processes Ability to foster strong relationships from cross-functional and multi-cultural groups Exceptional customer focus Education Required Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical discipline or any related field of study Experience Required 8+ years of Facility I&C / SCADA / IoT / TGM Systems Engineering experience Experience Desired Lead or actively involved in global facility engineering efforts About Micron Technology, Inc.
