About the role
The Facility Master Planning Engineer will lead layout and space management for new construction projects within Micron's global facilities, creating benchmarks, reports, and coordinating across multiple teams to ensure optimal design and efficient use of space in semiconductor manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Collect, classify, and evaluate layout and space management data and concepts throughout all project phases from concept to construction
- Generate benchmarks and reference data for Micron sites' layout and space management
- Create reports, benchmarking tools, and monitoring systems related to layout and space management
- Collaborate with Global and Site Facilities, Global Planning, Facilities Transfer, CPEE, and IEs to drive optimal layout and efficient space utilization
- Coordinate and manage interface meetings with stakeholders to incorporate end‑user requirements into design
- Ensure roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities are clearly understood by all participating teams
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or BEng in Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of facility planning experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment
- Experience with wafer fab facilities systems and facilities layout planning & construction
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Proficiency in Excel and basic code writing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
