About the role
The Global Facilities Project Engineer leads and manages Micron's new construction project planning process, developing schedules, budgets, and resource allocations while coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring alignment with company goals, particularly for semiconductor and high‑tech facilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the new construction project planning process
- Establish project objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
- Prepare space, cost, and schedule reports and long‑term plan reports for management review
- Develop and manage initial project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations
- Maintain effective communication with project team members and stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns
- Ensure roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities are understood by the project team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, preferably large‑scale construction in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, oil & gas, or high‑tech industries
- Experience in project program management, planning, and schedule control
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, and construction project management software
- Relevant professional certification such as PMP or LEED
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
