Key Responsibilities
- Understanding the existing and emerging chemical compliance obligations throughout the Micron network and translating those into requirements for global standards and procedures, in partnership with the site teams. You will also be responsible for implementing to various chemical compliance actions including planning and executing experiments with team members throughout the company and analyzing the data. Participation in external consortia supporting chemical compliance obligations is also likely. A team member in this role will demonstrate their collaboration and communication skills to work closely with the legal department, site operations teams, process engineers, facilities, procurement, and suppliers as needed to ensure chemical compliance. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Material Science or Engineering Chemical regulatory basic knowledge required Environmental, health, safety, or sustainability preferred Semiconductor background preferred Assembly test knowledge preferred Key Skills & Competencies Organized, analytical, meticulous, and strong focus on results! Strong written and verbal communication in English Spirit of teamwork and shared responsibility Ability to effectively collaborate with multi-functional organizations, including internal and external, and across geographies to understand how compliance obligations impact the sites and translate them into actionable plans Project management skills including establishing and tracking to schedules, articulating dependencies, articulating requirements, documenting deliverables and key decisions Proven facilitation skills including the ability to influence others Flexibility and ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment as chemicals, regulations, and processes change Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Strong analytical and problem solving skills Travel : 5-10% About Micron Technology, Inc.
