The Engineer - HIG HBM - PE Design Validation role at Micron Technology focuses on validation of high‑bandwidth memory (HBM) designs, collaborating across design, manufacturing, test, and quality teams. Key Responsibilities
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: act as key interface between Design, Manufacturing, Test, Quality, and external customers; collaborate with PE teams
- Perform validation work on test modes and designs using simulation, data analysis, and ATE/bench analysis
- Root cause understanding and resolution of manufacturing, test, and quality issues through hardware and software debugging, circuit simulations, and data analysis
- Promote innovation and challenge the status quo to maintain competitive edge
- Data analysis for validation using in‑house statistical tools for risk assessment and performance insights
- Understand JEDEC specifications for HBM and create internal architecture documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
- Up to 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of VLSI, semiconductor process, and basic device physics
- Exposure to schematic, simulation, data analysis, lab debug, or pattern manipulation
- Experience with Verilog, VHDL, or SystemVerilog
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills
