The Sr. Engineer, Front-End Global Manufacturing Engineering role at Micron leads global standardization, best‑known‑methods governance, and continuous improvement across all Front‑End manufacturing sites. The engineer drives operational efficiency through Lean, Theory of Constraints, capacity management, automation, digital reporting, and scheduling system enhancements while collaborating with cross‑functional, multicultural teams worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead development, standardization, benchmarking, and continuous improvement of FE ME operation/equipment metrics, capacity readiness processes, business processes, and BKMs across all sites.
- Govern Fab Manufacturing Engineering operational ground rules and ensure consistent alignment of methodologies, metrics, and best practices globally.
- Act as global technical SME to optimize area operations, systems integration, and digital ecosystem adoption, driving standardization and systemization of BKMs into long‑term ME blueprints.
- Facilitate worldwide ME forums, area network meetings, and sustain/audit existing global BKMs and business processes.
- Analyze line performance, equipment utilization, OEE, workstation/block WPD, and capacity readiness using Theory of Constraints and Lean Manufacturing.
- Drive area efficiency improvement by deep‑diving into root causes of equipment availability losses, operating losses, and capability gaps, partnering with site teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or relevant semiconductor engineering roles.
- Intermediate knowledge of the 300mm fully‑automated semiconductor manufacturing process (preferred).
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing
