About the role
The Senior Dry Etch Process and Equipment Engineer at Micron Technology leads the development, optimization, and troubleshooting of dry etch processes and related equipment to improve yield, reduce cost, and support new product introductions in semiconductor memory manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
- Establish and improve process conditions and technology
- Upgrade process capability and reduce production cost
- Establish and modify process management projects
- Set up process parameters for a variety of semiconductor equipment
- Evaluate, promote and plan new equipment/materials
- Analyze data and perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve process issues
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor wafer fabrication
- Familiarity with dry etch wafer fabrication processes and LAM Kiyo/Flex tool start‑up
- Extensive experience using JMP for data analysis and visualization
- Proficiency with Microsoft Power Automate, SQL, and at least one scripting language (Python or VBA)
- Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE), and engineering statistical data analysis
