Key Responsibilities
- Production planning to meet weekly target output, on-time delivery to customer, machine utilization and inventory level. In this role, some of the tasks that need to carry out include exploring continuous improvements activities to assist area management in running the production in a cost efficient and effective manner. - Generate production plan and execution strategy to meet Output plan, On Time Delivery (OTD) to customer, Cycle Time and Day Of Inventory (DIO) metrics
- Analyze the progress of daily production operations and collaborate with cross functional team to resolve any issues impacting delivery schedule to customers
- Create and implement integrated systems for carrying out materials flow, production processes, inventory control and human work factors
- Drive continuous improvement to achieve Best In Class performance on Cycle Time and Delivery
- Serve as Manufacturing primary point of contact for In-line Planning and Production Control related activities
Requirements
- Job Requirements, Qualifications/Experience
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering or Science is required
- Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills
- Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels
- Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus
- Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred
