About the role
The MSB Post Elect Equipment Engineer at Micron is responsible for diagnosing and resolving equipment issues, developing maintenance programs, driving continuous improvement, coordinating new equipment installations, and supporting 24/7 manufacturing operations while collaborating with vendors and cross‑functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify, diagnose and resolve equipment related problems and ensure overall equipment performance (utilization, availability, etc.)
- Define equipment maintenance programs to sustain continuous operation for production
- Implement continuous improvement programs to enhance tool safety, performance, reduce losses and maintenance cost
- Work with equipment and automation vendors to set up machine and material automatic handling capabilities
- Lead or participate in equipment benchmarking and definition of Tool of Record (TOR)
- Participate in cross‑functional team activities to achieve production yield, quality and cost goals
Requirements
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering
- Strong analytical, logical and critical thinking skills
- Effective communication and ability to collaborate across all levels
- Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning
- Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry (preferred)
- Interest and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron (preferred)
