About the role
As a VP, System Analyst (Payment) at United Overseas Bank Ltd, you will be instrumental in optimizing and maintaining payment systems, analyzing performance, troubleshooting incidents, and collaborating with stakeholders to implement enhancements.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of payment system performance, identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and potential risks.
- Monitor and troubleshoot payment system incidents, providing timely resolution and escalation as required.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement enhancements to payment systems.
- Participate in the testing and deployment of new payment system features, upgrades, and integrations.
- Develop and maintain documentation for payment system processes, configurations, and incident management procedures.
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and propose preventative measures.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in payment systems analysis, support, or operations within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of various payment schemes (e.g., SWIFT, FAST, GIRO, RTGS) and their operational flows.
- Proficiency in analyzing complex data sets and generating insightful reports.
- Experience with SQL for data querying and analysis.
- Familiarity with system monitoring tools and incident management processes.
