Senior-level job scheduler responsible for managing and optimizing automated job scheduling systems within a semiconductor foundry environment. The role focuses on ensuring efficient execution of manufacturing workflows through MES/ERP integration while maintaining high availability and performance of critical production processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize job scheduling systems for semiconductor manufacturing operations
  • Monitor and troubleshoot automated batch jobs across MES and ERP platforms
  • Develop and maintain job scheduling workflows to ensure optimal production efficiency
  • Coordinate with production teams to prioritize and schedule manufacturing jobs
  • Analyze system performance metrics and implement improvements to reduce job failures
  • Provide technical support for job scheduling issues and escalations
  • Create and maintain documentation for job scheduling procedures and configurations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new manufacturing processes into scheduling systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in job scheduling or batch scheduling systems
  • Strong experience with MES and ERP systems in semiconductor manufacturing
  • Proficiency in Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting
  • Experience with SQL and Oracle databases
  • Knowledge of wafer fab manufacturing processes and production planning
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Experience with automation tools and scripting languages
  • Understanding of capacity planning and resource optimization
  • Ability to provide 24/7 on-call support as needed
  • Experience working in a foundry or semiconductor manufacturing environment preferred
