About the role
Senior legal counsel role providing strategic legal advice and support to Group Retail banking operations, covering retail, private and digital banking products, IP matters, and cross-border initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Providing legal advisory services to, and engaging in stakeholder discussions on, a broad range of matters across various banking segments and products (including retail banking, private banking and digital banking as well as trademarks and IP matters)
- Drafting, reviewing and hands-on negotiation of diverse banking/commercial documents and agreements
- Drafting product terms and conditions; legal policies and guidelines
- Advising business leaders on significant legal issues impacting the business
- Participating in special projects, both local and regional (including industry-wide initiatives, corporate actions, business transformation)
- Working with internal stakeholders to support the Bank's strategy and drive business growth
Requirements
- Legal background with experience in banking/financial services.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills for commercial documents.
- Ability to advise on complex legal matters impacting business growth.
- Understanding of banking products and operational workflows.
