The Assistant VP of Group Strategy & Transformation leads high-level corporate initiatives to define the organization's long-term vision and operational roadmap. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the group's annual strategic planning cycles and development of long-term corporate roadmaps
- Drive large-scale transformation projects and digital adoption initiatives across multiple business units
- Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities, including mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures
- Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to support entry into new markets
- Develop and monitor organizational KPIs and performance metrics for strategic initiatives
- Prepare and present strategic business cases and reports for the Board of Directors and senior executive leadership
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to streamline operations and improve organizational efficiency
- Manage cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of transformation milestones
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA is highly preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, or business development
- Proven track record of managing complex, large-scale transformation or restructuring programs
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation, and quantitative analysis
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence C-suite executives
- Prior experience in a top-tier management consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain) is an advantage
- Deep understanding of the advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, or industrial technology landscape
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor high-performing strategy teams
- Strong project management skills with experience in matrixed organizational environments
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate high-level vision into actionable execution plans
