About the role

The Assistant VP of Group Strategy & Transformation leads high-level corporate initiatives to define the organization's long-term vision and operational roadmap. This role focuses on driving digital transformation, evaluating strategic growth opportunities such as M&A, and ensuring alignment across diverse business units in the industrial technology sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the group's annual strategic planning cycles and development of long-term corporate roadmaps
  • Drive large-scale transformation projects and digital adoption initiatives across multiple business units
  • Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities, including mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to support entry into new markets
  • Develop and monitor organizational KPIs and performance metrics for strategic initiatives
  • Prepare and present strategic business cases and reports for the Board of Directors and senior executive leadership
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to streamline operations and improve organizational efficiency
  • Manage cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of transformation milestones

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA is highly preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, or business development
  • Proven track record of managing complex, large-scale transformation or restructuring programs
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation, and quantitative analysis
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence C-suite executives
  • Prior experience in a top-tier management consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain) is an advantage
  • Deep understanding of the advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, or industrial technology landscape
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor high-performing strategy teams
  • Strong project management skills with experience in matrixed organizational environments
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate high-level vision into actionable execution plans
