Key Responsibilities
- Providing legal advisory services to, and engaging in stakeholder discussions on, a broad range of matters across various banking functions (including tech and ops, HR)
- Managing and handling of disputes, including representing the Bank in adjudications and mediations
- Drafting, reviewing and hands-on negotiation of diverse banking/commercial documents and agreements
- Drafting product terms and conditions; legal policies and guidelines
- Advising business leaders on significant legal issues impacting the business
- Participating in special projects, both local and regional (including industry-wide initiatives, corporate actions, business transformation)
Requirements
- Legal qualification with experience in a regulated industry.
- Proven ability to handle and manage legal disputes.
- Strong transactional drafting skills for commercial agreements.
- Ability to translate complex legal issues into business advice.
